Although there are templates available for these cars, not all pre-cut ppf patterns fit due to the vehicle having inconsistent panels. This required us to bespoke design a custom pre-cut kit to ensure the best possible alignment and coverage.

During the paint protection film design process we encountered a few issues mainly being differences in panel gaps, badge sizes, hole locations, and just general overall panel dimensions.
Typically we would take a template from one side of the vehicle, then flip it to fit for the other. With this F40 each panel had to be templated, digitally designed, and tested. Multiple test fits ensured we could get as close to each edge as possible whilst wrapping every vulnerable area.

With a total of 1,315 vehicles manufactured from 1987 to 1992, the F40 isn't classed as a super rare vehicle, but with it being the last Ferrari personally approved by Enzo Ferrari designed to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary, its iconic styling and a 0-60 time of 4.2sec, this is truly a special unique vehicle that can't be replicated.
